Who am I ?Psychologist – Uccle

Grégory Visart, your psychologist in Uccle (Brussels) since 2019, I support adults experiencing psychological distress or personal questioning, in French (FR) and English (EN).

I practice Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), a humanistic approach recognized in Belgium and internationally. This therapy is based on the belief that everyone has within them the resources needed to overcome difficulties and achieve personal growth. My role is to accompany you in your process of change and personal development, supporting you in your search for meaning and balance. I believe that by exploring your own thoughts, feelings, and experiences, you can gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your needs.

In my practice, I adopt an attitude of empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard to foster change and well-being. Empathy involves deeply understanding your experience and reflecting it back accurately, creating a space where you can feel truly heard and validated. Congruence, or authenticity, means that I remain sincere and transparent in the relationship, staying true to my own feelings. This authenticity helps establish trust and enables you to connect more deeply with yourself. Unconditional positive regard ensures a warm, non-judgmental acceptance, allowing you to express yourself freely, without fear of rejection, and to feel fully accepted as you are.

PCT is a non-directive approach: rather than interpreting or imposing a path, I accompany you in your personal journey, helping you gain self-understanding, become aware of your strengths, and move forward at your own pace towards lasting well-being. This approach values the autonomy of the client, helping you discover your own solutions, and supporting the actualizing tendency that encourages you to grow, realize your potential, and live a fulfilling life.
